Silly dolls are very original and unique toy. Children can learn and explore their curiosity through our simple shapes and colours and encourage them to use imagination and creativity.
Imagination play is very important because it lets children seek and discover their interests by using the dolls to express themselves and make their own story. Our designs started as a simple sketch. By using only few shapes and colours, we are able to create many different animal friends.
Why we chose an animal design?
Many children are drawn to the different animals. Animals give them a feeling of joy and happiness. Sometimes this animal can comfort kids greatly by just being there. They can learn responsibility, empathy and love towards others.
By simplifying animal shapes and colours, Silly dolls look somewhat different from any other doll which allows children open-ended play and the possibilities are endless!
We are a small company (me and my husband). All products are designed and made by hand by us. We have done several craft shows and have had a fantastic response from the public. Our sales have increased at each event and we now have our products in Canada, The United States and Asia.
It is our hope that the dolls are a fun and educational toy that children will love and also learn the importance of preserving our natural world.
Also we are so happy to tell everyone that our first children's book is now out.
It is a story of family bonding and tells of the importance of knowing where you came from and who you are. See availability below.
